ROMFORD produced a stunning comeback to move level with Witham and only goal difference is keeping them in the relegation spots.
After winning their last two games, Romford had given themselves a chance of avoiding the drop but things looked bleak after 40 minutes.
After conceding a needless corner Boro found themselves behind when Jack Mochalski headed home on 13 minutes.
Soham doubled their lead when they stole possession and Mark Lovell scuffed his shot into the bottom corner.
