HURST IS THE MAN AT TOWN

FORMER Bury, Chesterfield, Notts County and FC United striker Glynn Hurst has taken over as manager of Ashton Town.
Hurst, who had a spell as assistant manager at Hyde United, has joined the North West Counties Division One North side from Marine’s reserve side.
Ashton chairman Mark Hayes said: “Glynn is someone I have watched and followed as a player, to now, as an extremely highly rated and respected young manager. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Marine for their co-operation with this appointment.”
