SINCE the transfer window flung back open this month, it’s been heartening to see that Premier League clubs have suddenly found millions of pounds down the back of the sofas.
Was it really only a couple of months ago that many were furloughing players and staff, claiming to be in dire straits.
Look at Arsenal. They have laid off 55 members of their non-playing staff earlier this month and yet they have just brought in Willian, inset, from Chelsea, on a cool wage, while Mezut Ozil is sat on the sidelines raking in £350,000 a week! How sad it is to see that th...
