TONY Incenzo’s column on matchday programmes (NLP, Nov 15) reminded me of the time when Eastbourne Borough – in their biggest ever game, against Blackpool in the FA Cup – gave me two pages in the programme to promote my autobiography, for which I will always be grateful.
Tony is right, nothing beats having a printed programme in your hand. Who knows, you could be watching a would-be Jamie Vardy making his debut?
