Mark Stimson’s Step 3 part-timers had achieved the unthinkable. Despite not playing a competitive game since November, they somehow won seven FA Trophy games, knocked out six higher league sides, including National League King’s Lynn Town and Notts County in the semi-finals, and then came from a goal behind against National League North Hereford to win on the greatest day in the Urchins’ history.
