AFTER the 11th-hour confirmation of a £10 million Government grant for clubs to cover costs of starting the season behind-closed-doors, the 2020-21 campaign finally got underway on October 3.
Eastleigh thumped Peter Beadle’s Barnet 5-1 on the opening day, while Torquay United threw down an early marker by beating Stockport County 2-1.
