LEFT out of a struggling Morecambe team and unsure what the future would hold, Adam Campbell realised just how precarious a football career can be.
Fortunately, the 26-yearold striker started planning for life outside of the game while rediscovering his love for it during an enjoyable two years at Darlington.
“All my enthusiasm and energy was being sapped away,” explained Campbell. “I knew that the one thing I wanted to do was move closer to home to be with my friends and family and have that support network.
