AFTER fearing for his club’s future a few months ago, Moneyfields chairman Peter Seiden can now see a bright light at the end of the tunnel.
With sponsors feeling the effects of Covid-19, the Portsmouth-based club took the painful decision to seek voluntary relegation from the Southern League.
A one-division drop to the Wessex Premier was the end result, which has eased the financial pressure. More significantly, the Moneys have linked up with Portsmouth Football in the Community for a £5m development of their Moneyfields Sports Ground home.
