Andrew Ellis named as new Chessington & Hook manager

Ellis fills the gap left by Glen Nichols, who stood down after 18 months in charge. He will be assisted by Gary Taylor, who previously ran Worcester Park for three seasons.

CHESSINGTON & Hook United chief executive Andrew Ellis has been named as manager as the club prepare for a sideways move from the Combined Counties League into the Southern Counties East Division One.

Ellis fills the gap left by Glen Nichols, who stood down after 18 months in charge. He will be assisted by Gary Taylor, who previously ran Worcester Park for three seasons.

Ben Ewing, who has been involved in youth and senior football for 11 years, will be head coach. Ex-goalkeeper Gary Dodd is goalkeeping coach, and youth boss Scott Bishop is also part of the coaching team.
