Chatham Town

SCOTT Lindsey has quit as boss of Chatham Town to become an assistant coach at Swindon Town.

Lindsey was appointed in October 2019 and took the Chats to top position in the Southern Counties East Premier with ten wins out of 11 games before last season was curtailed.

Previously, he had been assistant manager for three years at Forest Green Rovers.

Chairman Kevin Hake said: “I think it says a lot about the club and him as a person that he was offered other Non-League jobs but turned them down. But the chance to work back in the EFL was one he had to take.”
