Stanway Rovers return for Karl Duguid

Duguid, 43, who made more than 450 appearances for Colchester United, first joined Stanway as a player in October 2014, before moving to Welling.

KARL Duguid has returned to Essex Senior League outfit Stanway Rovers for a fourth spell, this time as assistant to manager Danny Slatter.

Duguid, 43, who made more than 450 appearances for Colchester United, first joined Stanway as a player in October 2014, before moving to Welling.

He returned two months later, and after spells at Needham Market and Heybridge Swifts, came back to manage Stanway from January 2017 until June 2018.

A club statement said: “We are delighted to welcome Colchester United legend Karl Duguid back to The Hawthorns.”
