JILL Stacey is relishing the chance to have an impact at newly-named FC Humber United after being appointed first team coach.

The club, formerly East Hull, are gearing up for the Northern Counties East League Division One campaign. Stacey has been coaching for 17 years and has the UEFA B Licence.

“I definitely see this as a positive step for me within my own coaching journey,” she said. “The lads have been brilliant from the start. They have spoken to me and treated me the same as the other coaching staff and I wouldn’t expect anything different.”
