■ ASHFORD and Knaphill played out a draw in a well-fought contest in which neither side could create a match-winning moment.
Knaphill almost took the lead in the second minute, but for the quick reflexes of Ashford keeper Paul McCarthy.
The rest of the first half was even, but the game sparked in to life after the restart.
Knaphill grabbed the lead after 49 minutes thanks to a good move down the left.
The resulting cross headed back across goal by the unmarked Connor Holland.
