Hyde United planning swift appointment after McGurk departure

HYDE United are aiming to have a new manager in place for their FA Cup tie on Saturday following the resignation of Dave McGurk.

The Tigers will begin interviews for the job this week ahead of their trip to Morpeth Town in the first qualifying round.
The NPL Premier club accepted McGurk’s departure “with great regret” on Monday after five years of service.
He joined as assistant to Darren Kelly in 2016, helping take the club to the FA Cup first round and promotion in the 2017- 18 season.
