KINGSTONIAN maintained their early twopoint league lead after a curate’s egg of a performance and match.
Ks led Brightlingsea through Gus Sow’s 11th-minute penalty after a terrific first-half. And while Regent drew level in their best spell, Ks powered to victory late on.
The Rs were almost gifted a ninth-minute lead when Kennedy Feyi’s weak shot was saved by veteran Ks custodian Rob Tolfrey, on his club record 558th appearance for Ks.
