■ DAN Walker’s last-minute goal snatched victory for Heybridge.
They had gone ahead after 15 minutes when Archie McFadden crossed for Andy Fennell to clamly convert.
Heybridge had the majority of play until a delightful ball found Shomari Barnwell at the back post and he hit it into the ground and over the line for the Maldon equaliser.
Heybridge scored early in the second half when Dylan Logan’s deflected shot wrong-footed the keeper but the lead only lasted 15 minutes before Charlee Hughes finished smartly to level again.
