A COMMITTED Barnstaple performance was not enough against a more experienced Paulton side.
After a couple of early scares for Barnstaple, with Adam Seedhouse-Evans saving efforts from David O’Hare and Jake Sloggett, the visitors took the lead when O’Hare headed home.
The second came five minutes before half-time when Barnstaple lost the ball in midfield and Sloggett took advantage.
