MYSTERY FAN KEEPS CITY UP & RUNNING

CANTERBURY City will be able to complete the current season due to the generosity of an anonymous supporter – but their future remains uncertain.
City tendered their resignation from the Southern Counties East League Premier after being told by their backers Quinn Estates they would need to wait three years for a planning application to be submitted for a new ground.
The league gave the club a 48-hour window to try and find a way to remain at Step 5 and to stay ground sharing at Faversham Town, which was achieved by the mystery donation from a supporter.
