DANIEL Ajakayie scored the only goal of the game as league leaders Kingstonian eventually breached Bowers & Pitsea’s obdurate defence to take all three points from The Len Salmon Stadium.
Ks’ Nyren Clunis wasted the first real chance of the game, only able to volley over after Callum Leahy’s header fell to him.
The visitors’ centre-back Ollie Cook then headed wide after a succession of corners, before Mitchell Beeney’s smart stop denied Clunis once more.
