GARY Hayward reckons he may have become the first manager in a wheelchair to reach the FA Cup first round proper as Buxton keep on making history.
The 56-year-old diabetic had his right leg amputated below the knee earlier this year after gangrene spread.
He has been wheelchair bound ever since and suffered a setback after a fall in hospital, but is hoping to acquire a prosthetic leg soon which will bring normality back.
