BUILDING A LEGACY: Longwell Green Sports are benefitting on and off the field with the installation of their new 3G facility

I’VE always firmly believed that 3G artificial pitches are the best way forward for Non-League teams who want to position themselves at the very heart of their local communities.
One of the latest clubs to go down this route are Longwell Green Sports FC of the Western League Division One. Their new synthetic surface was opened last month as part of an extensive £800,000 upgrade at the Shellards Road ground.
