PHIPPS STANS TALL IN HONOUR

JOINT-BOSS Jamie Phipps says Stansfeld’s FA Vase adventure is a reward for the decades of service their committee has dedicated to the club.
The Southern Counties East League Division One side are one of only two Step 6 teams left in the competition, along with Abbey Hey.
Stansfeld claimed another scalp last weekend by beating higher-league Raynes Park Vale and will aim to repeat the feat at Combined Counties League Premier North club Southall.
