BOOK THE pre-season fixtures, get the players signed up, plan the away days, the Football Association have released the Step 3-6 National League Club Allocations for the 2022-23 season.
OK, so they’re still to be ratified at this stage and subject to appeals – but we now have a good idea of how the Non-League landscape will look for the next 12 months.
Clubs can get on with planning, while managers can focus their attention on their recruitment – and, for the first time since 2019, promotions and relegations have been decided on the pitch again.
