POSITIVE chairman Barry Stone believes reverting to their original name – and appointing new managers – can herald the dawn of a new era at Brook House FC.
It was 15 years ago that the then-Southern League club decided to change their name to AFC Hayes in a bid to attract more sponsorship and raise their profile.
But the Farm Park outfit – founded in 1974 – were relegated to the Combined Counties League in 2015 and suffered a further demotion to the league’s second tier in 2019.
