DANNY CASHMAN scored two goals in three minutes as Worthing progressed to the FA Cup first round proper for the first time in 24 years.
Bath went into the fixture in superior form, but were below par as their ten-match unbeaten run was to come to a stuttering halt on the south coast.
The odds were stacked against Worthing, who only had two defenders in their squad due to injuries and suspensions, but both sides defended resolutely in the first half.
