■ WOODFORD TOWN moved to within two points of leaders Stanway Rovers, and with a game in hand, after a late, late winner against Romford at Ashtons on Friday night.
A cross from Ernest Okoh fell to Georges Kebi who smashed home the 91st minute winner from 20 yards.
Takeley are now just three points off the top, having played a game more than Stanway after a 4–1 defeat of Stansted, who led early on though Callum Fitzer.
Olly Miles was the Blues’ hat-trick hero with Jack Mitchell also scoring.
