MUDD STEPS DOWN

REECE Mudd – who took South Leeds from Sunday football to the Northern Counties East Division One – has quit as manager after eight seasons.
The club was formed as Middleton FC in 2017 as a Sunday side but withdrew from their league in their first season and entered Saturday football the following year, joining the Yorkshire Amateur League.
Under Mudd, who will remain as club chairman and secretary, the club gained six promotions in eight seasons and won 11 trophies.
A club statement read: “No words can describe what this man has done for this football club....
