Unlucky Roman gifts it to Blues

WINGATE & FINCHLEY were gifted victory by an own goal in this feisty encounter.
Dover started on the front foot and nearly scored in the second minute when Wingate’s goalkeeper lost possession, but a crucial goal-line clearance kept the score level.
The hosts had to withstand pressure from Dover but, after weathering the early storm, the game evened out.
Wingate broke the deadlock in the 34th minute when Ryan’s Lowe’s precise right-footed strike from 15 yards found the bottom left corner.
