DAVIDE RODARI scored the goals, but goalkeeper Louis Rogers was the hero as Hastings United kept their survival hopes alive with a crucial win against Bowers & Pitsea at The Len Salmon Stadium.
The U’s axed manager Danny Searle in the week and this victory sees them eight points from safety.
The hosts started more positively than they had in previous weeks, Igor Sani stinging the gloves of Rogers from range, but they lost TQ Addy to injury, Kai Redgrave replacing him.
