■ LANCING had relegation confirmed last weekend and were on a miserable run of ten successive defeats which Croydon added to with a comfortable win.
Lancing didn’t offer much going forward and Croydon will rue some poor finishing.
Ibby Akanbi extended his good run of scoring, now five goals in six as he scored on the half hour firing across the keeper from inside the box.
The second after 68 minutes was a shot from Brandon Pierrick which looked to deceive the keeper.
