■ FELIXSTOWE took the points against a strong Maldon & Tiptree side.
The Seasiders were awarded a penalty after four minutes, but Jack Ainsley’s effort was saved.
Sam Ford hit the bar with an in-swinging corner that saw Rob Harvey’s follow-up blocked. At the other end, Harry Wright somehow kept out Maldon’s best chance, twice denying the forward.
