■ ALREADY-relegated and managerless Grantham Town slipped to a home defeat to Darlaston.
The visitors pushed forward in the early stages and took the lead when Gill curled a corner in at the near post. Pawson then saw his shot turned onto the crossbar for Grantham by goalkeeper Amos.
Pearson shot wide when well placed before Carson fired a 25-yard shot into the top corner.
Darlington had a chance in the second minute of the second half, but Cook shot wide from close range.
