Sutton Coldfield hit back with a penalty after Kyle Burke was brought down by Wellingborough captain Jack O’Connor inside the area, with Ryan Edmunds converting the spot kick.
Lloyd Buckby then saw a straight red card for a high-footed tackle with 18 minutes to go.
