League adjustment is a no-go

THE Midland Football League will continue with 18 clubs next season after officials tasked with approving FA allocation proposals couldn’t agree on a better solution.
Calls had been made to address an imbalance between the Midland League top-flight and the neighbouring North West Counties League Premier Division, which has consisted of 24 teams for the past two seasons.
But, according to NWCFL chairman Paul Lawler keeping the status quo is the “most sensible outcome”.
