PAUL Downing says he can’t wait to turn out for Worcester City next season.
The 33-year-old defender has played over 300 games in the EFL and turned out on loan for Worcester’s neighbours Kidderminster last season.
“Living locally and with a young family, location was a big factor in joining,” he said. “Also add in how big this club can be, the journey it’s on and, of course, the fact that home games will be played at Sixways Stadium, and you can see what an exciting project this is to be part of.”
