Eager Umar Ahmed is EDI champion

The Northern Premier League has appointed Umar Ahmed as its first-ever EDI Champion.

Ahmed has spent over 10 years working within Equality and Diversity within sport, including at national level for Sporting Equals, where he advised sports clubs and national governing bodies.
He is also a Level 3 referee in the NPL East division, having officiated in the National League System for over 15 years.
