Payne paraded as Hamlet boy

DULWICH Hamlet boss Mark Dacey has completed a summer transfer coup by bringing in former National League South promotion winner Alfie Payne. Payne, 25, secured promotion to Non-League’s top table with Braintree Town in 2023-24 but was unable to experience life at the top due to work commitments.
Last season, he spent time at Clarence Park as St Albans City suffered a shock relegation from National League South.
Dacey said of his new arrival: “Alfie’s range of passing and ability to play forward is something that has really impressed us.”
