Grayson wins

HARTLEPOOL United boss Simon Grayson has beaten off strong competition to sign Barnet forward Jermaine Francis.
The 23-year-old spent the majority of last season on loan at Braintree in between brief cameos for the champions, playing 34 league games overall, scoring eight goals.
Grayson said: “I’m really pleased to have beaten off competition to sign Jermaine. He’s a versatile young player who we feel will only improve and also add a different dimension to the squad.”
