IVYBRIDGE Town smashed AFC St Austell 7-0 on their own patch to fire a signal of intent on the opening day.
Kaycee Ogwu, James Forrest, Mason Elliott and Kai Burrell all netted within 12 minutes midway through the first half with Joe Cook getting number five before being sent off for a second booking late on. Dan Tate’s double, the second a 25-yard lob, rounded off the thrashing.
