CO-BOSS Jamie Howell says he can see no reason why his Bognor Regis Town side can’t enjoy a successful season, despite being forced to cancel a pre-season friendly with Weymouth due to unavailability of players.
The Rocks slipped back into Step 4 after a rather forgettable Isthmian Premier campaign last season, leaving Howell and co-boss Michael Birmingham with a hefty re-build job undertake.
But off-the-field issues have limited their options, leaving preparations far from ideal for their season opener against Chichester City on Friday.
