FORMER Millwall and AFC Wimbledon defender Jake Goodman has been named as the permanent player-manager of Southern Counties East Premier side Phoenix Sports.
Goodman, 32, took over on a caretaker basis following last month’s departure of Darren Anslow after nearly a year in charge.
“I want to say how privileged I feel to have been trusted with this opportunity and I’ll be giving everything I can both on and off the pitch,” he said.
