STATISTICS showed a massive 44 per cent rise in opening day attendances in the four Isthmian League divisions – a sign of good things to come across all the Step 3 and 4 divisions.
Dulwich Hamlet, in particular, welcomed over 2,000 for their opening day visit of Dartford and that inspired Mark Dacey’s men to an encouraging month where they led the way in the Premier Division along with fellow pacesetters Brentwood Town, Cheshunt, Lewes and Folkestone Invicta.
