THE early part of any serious Groundhopper’s season will be spent visiting clubs that have been promoted into leagues a Hopper is trying to keep pace with.
Filter out Filthy Ground-sharers – very low to zero priority – and Plastic Fantastic pitches, which should literally be saved for a rainy day, and each football traveller will be left with a list of ‘must visit’ grounds in the first few weeks of any given season.
