POOLE bounced back from consecutive defeats with a win on the road at Havant and Waterlooville who saw more misery compounded on an already frustrating week that saw elimination from the FA Cup in a midweek replay.
Paul McCallum had a golden chance to give the hosts the lead after Leon Maloney found him in the box in space, but he miscued the effort and ended up firing wide.
