BRENTWOOD TOWN advanced to the third qualifying round of the FA Cup for the first time since the 2015/16 season with a thrilling comeback victory at Parkside.
The hosts began the match in impressive fashion. After a deft flick from Chris Harris, Toby Aromolaran found himself through on goal and skilfully flicked the ball over Brentwood’s debutant goalkeeper.
Aveley quickly doubled their advantage. Aromolaran, now in a provider role, pulled the ball back to Harris, who calmly tapped in the second goal.
