Brackley Town defender Connor Hall joins Harrogate Town

Harrogate Town have made their first summer signing in defender Connor Hall.
He joins from , where he formed an impressive partnership with Gareth Dean at the heart of defence in the 2018/19 season, earning plenty of plaudits.
Having joined the Saints in June 2018, the 25-year-old helped his side to a third place finish in , though saw the season end in disappointment with a play-off defeat to Spennymoor on penalties.
At six-foot-four, Hall is a commanding presence, with only champions Stockport County conceding less goals than his Brackley side last season.
Town's newest recruit started his career alongside England goalkeeper Nick Pope at and had spent two seasons at before joining Brackley, registering 18 goals in two seasons in a more advanced position.
“We have been tracking Connor's performances for some time at Brackley,” said Town boss Simon Weaver.
“He has height, strength and mobility, he is confident, a great lad and truly the modern breed of centre back.
“He is career driven, I'm sure everyone will take to him and he will do a great job for the team, a warm welcome to Connor.”
The transfer is subject to FA and approval on July 1, 2019.
