Solihull Moors have announced that defender Liam Daly will leave the club after eight seasons at Damson Park.
The centre-back has made over 250 appearances for the National League side in three spells at the West Midlands club but will leave following a mutual agreement that the move would be best for both parties.
Daly is in the final year of his contract and with no extension forthcoming agreed with Solihull Moors that he could depart the club.
Moors' chairman Darryl Eales said: “Liam is iconic at Moors, both on and off the pitch. He is a talisman and epitomises the progression of Solihull Moors over the past three seasons.
“I'm delighted that we have agreed to stage a testimonial for Liam at the end of this season and I'm sure he will be part of the Moors family for a long time to come.”
Daly joined Moors from Redditch United in 2008 and scored 20 goals during his eight seasons with the club.
The 32-year-old left in 2010, enjoying a successful spell at Leamington where he helped the club win the Southern Premier title, before returning to Solihull in 2014.
“Moors are a fantastic club and I'm privileged to have played a part in the success over recent seasons,” Daly said.
“I'm grateful to many people, especially Mike Turl, Mark Fogarty and the amazing Moors fans.
“The club is going from strength to strength and I will always be amongst its biggest fans.”
Daly will be awarded a testimonial match at the end of the season.
Solihull Moors are sixth in the National League and host AFC Fylde at Damson Park on Saturday.
