Wrexham ready to go viral with TikTok deal

The audience of the short video social platform is expected to reach one billion this year and the name will be emblazoned across the Red Dragons’ shirt.

WREXHAM executive director Humphrey Kerr believes the club landing global entertainment platform TikTok as their new shirt sponsor will be the envy of many.

The audience of the short video social platform is expected to reach one billion this year and the name will be emblazoned across the Red Dragons’ shirt.

With owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney determined to push the club back into the , as well as a Welcome to Wrexham documentary in the offing, the club believe the ground-breaking deal with TikTok will help spread their story around the world.

Kerr said: “We were blown away by the ideas that TikTok had for their partnership with the club. The opportunity to access the full breadth of their social reach creates a community-building opportunity many will envy.

“To have TikTok on the front of our shirts is a great coup and we are sure it will be popular among our fanbase, as well as with those who are active on TikTok.”

TikTok, a hub for short videos, are an official sponsor of Euro 2020.

Nick Tran, global head of marketing at TikTok, said: “With the growth of clubs, players and trends on TikTok, joining Rob and Ryan in returning Wrexham AFC to the English was a natural choice for us.”
