GRIMSBY Town boss Paul Hurst dedicated this victory over Weymouth to the club’s supporters as they made the perfect start to life back in the National League.
John McAtee’s second-half goal was enough to hand the Mariners victory as they finally got their 2021/22 campaign underway, having had their curtain-raiser at Bromley postponed after a Covid outbreak.
