A BRILLIANT second-half effort from Jamie Cooke helped FC Halifax Town cap a comfortable win over bottom club Ebbsfleet United to keep their promotion hopes alive.
Cooke found the top corner of the net with a superb volley from fully 30 yards to seal victory after Luca Thomas had handed Halifax a 12th-minute lead.
It took the Shaymen up to sixth in the table, and delighted boss Chris Millington said: “I enjoyed it. We have the youngest average age in the league.
